The original FNAF World Multiplayer documents four individual Nightmare character unlocks—Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, and Nightmare Foxy—plus one later badge named Nightmare and Nightmare Fred-bear. The pair wording is official and should not be split into separate current routes without a live selector check.
Nightmare records
The four individual records were created on September 4, 2020. The paired record followed on September 18. Catalog timing does not disclose the live route or prerequisite order.
Understand the paired record
The badge description says “You unlocked Nightmare and Nightmare Fred-bear.” This proves that the official record names both entities. It does not say whether the current selector reveals two separate portraits, one combined entry, a transformation, or only one usable character.
After earning or confirming ownership, open the selector and look for both names. Spawn each available option separately. Record the displayed spelling, because Fred-bear is the official badge form while another interface may use Fredbear.
Do not create an independent unlock route for one half of the pair unless the live game or another official record supports it.
Check character access
Start in the original root Place and compare your badge inventory with the current selector. Mark each character as badge absent, badge owned but locked, visible and selectable, or successfully spawned. This is more informative than a single “unlocked” label.
If a badge was awarded years ago, rejoin a fresh server before assuming current access is broken. If a route awards the badge now, wait for the notification and check the Roblox account before leaving.
The Nightmare Badges guide groups the exact records and historical evidence boundary.
Compare without importing another game’s stats
Familiar FNAF names do not establish a move list. Test each available Nightmare in the same server and open area. Observe movement, visible actions, practical range, recovery, target response, incoming damage, and defeat behavior.
Avoid power labels based on appearance or badge award counts. A difficult unlock can be weak, strong, or purely cosmetic; the badge API does not say. If the live game shows no numbers, describe the repeatable effect instead of estimating damage.
For mobile, check that every action button remains visible for the selected model. For group play, check whether an effect reaches allies or enemies. Do not call a character tank, healer, control, or damage until current behavior supports it.
Historical route use
Older all-badge videos are useful for recognizing a former map sequence. Their title and linked Roblox page must match the original. A route from Multiplayer 2 or the 2026 same-name game cannot verify the target badge.
Follow old footage only while the current environment matches. Pause at each landmark, confirm that the interaction exists, and stop when the layout diverges. A successful test ends with the exact Roblox badge notification, not merely arrival at a familiar room.
If the badge does not award, check ownership before repeating. It may already exist on the account, the server may be stale, the trigger may have changed, or a prerequisite may be missing. Without current evidence, do not choose one explanation as fact.
Family testing route
- Verify the five official badge IDs.
- Check existing ownership for all five.
- Attempt one individual badge route in a fresh root server.
- Confirm notification and selector refresh.
- Repeat only for another record whose map evidence still matches.
- Treat the paired badge separately and inspect both possible selection outcomes.
This order prevents the pair from being mistaken for the four solo records and keeps results attributable.
Common mistakes
Counting five badges as exactly five characters. One record explicitly names two entities.
Splitting Nightmare Fred-bear into an unsupported page. The current official evidence is a paired badge.
Using the 2026 game’s party roles. That project has another Universe and developer.
Treating [EVENT OVER] as part of this family. Golden Toy Freddy is a separate event-marked record.
Calling older footage current. Always date the route and confirm the live award.
Confirmed and open questions
Confirmed: exact five badge records, IDs, enabled state, official descriptions, creation dates, and target Universe ownership.
Open: current routes, prerequisites, whether all badge triggers still work, exact selection mapping for the paired record, moves, stats, team roles, mobile usability, save persistence, and respawn behavior.
