Several Roblox projects use FNAF World Multiplayer or a close variation. This site covers only the original experience by ProtoScrap8790, Universe 1885139874, root Place 5379293691. Use creator and numeric IDs before following a badge route, character guide, server report, or code list.

The title currently begins with [Last Update], but that text is not a release number. The stable identity comes from Roblox’s Universe and Place records. A project can change its display title without changing those IDs, while a near-identical title can belong to a completely different developer and codebase.

Original 2020 game

Roblox records the original as created on July 19, 2020 and updated on March 17, 2021. Its current title is [Last Update] Fnaf World Multiplayer, its description is “May be updated again,” its capacity is 20 players, and its genre is Fighting. The official places inventory contains the root Place and a second place named Hell.

The original badge inventory contains 30 enabled records. That is why this site’s Characters and Badges indexes use those records as the documented roster boundary. The badges do not prove current routes or abilities, but they do firmly attach names and IDs to the correct Universe.

Multiplayer 2 is not a patch

Fnaf World Multiplayer 2 [Discontinued] belongs to the same creator, which makes confusion understandable. Its separate Universe and root Place make it a different Roblox experience. It was created in March 2021, later updated in March 2022, and its official title now carries the discontinued label.

Do not interpret the sequel’s later update time as evidence that the original received a 2022 patch. Do not transfer its server size, areas, badges, unlock steps, or selection behavior to Place 5379293691. The Multiplayer 2 guide explains how to identify links from the sequel.

The active 2026 same-name game

The newer project by Sunny_Verified uses a nearly identical FNaF World Multiplayer name and was created in August 2026. Its official description calls it an Early Access recreation and discusses a party, enemies, bosses, areas, secrets, future events, and skins. Those features attract current search results, but they belong to Universe 10743048214.

If a guide talks about a Halloween event, frequent live updates, an Early Access roadmap, new skins, or the Sunny_Verified creator account, stop and switch to the correct original link. None of those statements can be used as proof for the ProtoScrap8790 game.

Return to Animatronica

Return to Animatronica is owned by a Roblox group rather than ProtoScrap8790. Its public description explicitly says that ProtoScrap’s FNaF World Multiplayer inspired the project and encourages players to check the older game. That wording establishes a relationship of inspiration, not shared identity.

Its version number, dungeons, bosses, community server, and in-game update log are specific to Return to Animatronica. A colorful multiplayer screenshot alone cannot identify which project it shows. Check the group, Place ID, and Universe ID.

How to identify a screenshot or video

Open the description and look for a linked Roblox page. If a numeric Place appears, compare it with the table above. If no link is present, use the uploader’s publication date, visible title, creator line, and interface cautiously. Historical videos published in 2020 about ProtoScrap’s game are likely relevant to the original, but their routes can still be outdated.

When the footage shows a feature, ask two questions separately: “Which experience is this?” and “Does this still work?” A correct identity does not guarantee current behavior. A new video does not guarantee correct identity.

For badge footage, verify that the named badge ID exists in Universe 1885139874. For server information, verify the root Place. For a creator announcement, verify the account or group that owns the experience.

What can and cannot cross versions

General Roblox actions—opening a profile, using Join Experience, checking a server list, and reading IDs—can be applied across games. Product-specific facts cannot. Character availability, combat controls, badge triggers, map routes, codes, currencies, parties, and private-server behavior must be confirmed inside the exact Universe.

FNAF character names are also not enough to merge data. Withered Freddy can appear in several fan games while having different abilities and unlock requirements. This site accepts the name as an official target-game entity only when the target badge inventory contains it, and it leaves unsupported gameplay fields unfilled.

A safe research routine

  1. Copy the numeric Place ID from the Roblox address.
  2. Confirm the creator or owning group.
  3. Match the Universe ID through official metadata.
  4. Check the page creation and update dates.
  5. Compare the feature claim with the official description for that exact Universe.
  6. Treat old gameplay as historical until a current live session reproduces it.

This routine takes less time than recovering from a long unlock route performed in the wrong game.

Version FAQ

Is [Last Update] a version number?

No. It is part of the original experience’s current display title. Roblox’s metadata provides an updated timestamp, but there is no public semantic version or patch number.

Is Multiplayer 2 the same Universe?

No. It is a separate Universe and root Place, even though the creator is the same.

Is the active 2026 game an update of the original?

No. It has a different creator, Universe, root Place, creation date, and description.

Is Return to Animatronica official continuation content?

Its own description calls ProtoScrap’s project an inspiration. Treat it as an independent experience.
